Franklin’s fall festival has a new planning detail this year: you can choose between two days. The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County’s 41st PumpkinFest is scheduled for October 24–25, 2026, on Main Street downtown, expanding the event into a full weekend.
The organizer lists Saturday hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday hours of 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Music, costume contests and a seasonal arts-and-crafts marketplace are part of the announced program. Check the current schedule for individual activities and their requirements rather than assuming every feature operates throughout both days.

Franklin Transit’s listed festival shuttle costs $1 per person each way. Its service ends at 5:45 p.m. Saturday and 4:45 p.m. Sunday, earlier than the festival itself. Review boarding locations and return arrangements on the organizer’s page before choosing where to leave your vehicle.
Make the day easier by choosing one or two priorities: perhaps browsing makers’ work and watching a performance, rather than fitting everything into one visit. Agree on a meeting place, leave room for breaks and check the latest event notices before departure. A two-day festival creates more choice without requiring anyone to spend the whole weekend downtown.
